Zhoukou streamlines power services with intelligent center

For greater convenience, Zhoukou has employed an intelligent power service center this year, enabling online access and verification of documents. Documentation requirements for low and high-voltage electricity services have been reduced by 60 percent and 33 percent, respectively.

“In the past, resolving power issues required communicating with multiple departments, leading to long waiting times and complex processes. Now, we can directly contact our designated ‘Chief Service Officer’, who helps us solve various power-related problems,” said an executive from Zhoukou, Henan province-based Honggang Glass Co Ltd.

In addition, the processing time for low-voltage services for residential customers is now within one working day, while the timeline for high-voltage user services has been reduced to within ten working days.

To further optimize the local business environment, State Grid Zhoukou Electric Power Co has set goals to address management blind spots, streamline process bottlenecks, and resolve user pain points. They focus on reducing time, steps and costs while enhancing power supply reliability. This will ensure that the customers experience hassle-free, time-saving and cost-effective electricity services, said the power supplier.

Moving forward, the company said it will continue to deepen data exchange and electronic license sharing between government and enterprises, as well as facilitate the approval process, to continuously improve power supply services and contribute to the enhancement of Zhoukou’s business environment.
