Economist: (fiscal and) tax reforms should focus on pension and health care

In a recent interview with China Perspectives, Yao Yang, director of the China Center for Economic Research at Peking University, stated that the central-local relationship is particularly important for (fiscal and) tax reform. —”The central government probably has to take more expenditure responsibility, particularly in pension and health care,” he said.
